About Us

The James & Pine Black Business District is an important piece of Goldsboro's history. In 2021, a committee was birthed out of Downtown Goldsboro Development Corporation's Design Committee to bring life and awareness back to this historic district. With support from Downtown Development and DGDC, this committee is embarking on a journey to revive and honor the rich history of the once thriving Black Business District. This district was a cornerstone of our community, fostering commerce, culture, and unity.
